LG B4 OLED (55-inch): was AU$2,499 now AU$1,905 at Appliances Online

Save AU$594
Despite being the entry-level OLED in LG's 2024 line-up, the LG B4 is a fine choice for anyone looking to invest in OLED, but doesn't want to pay top dollar. Of course, it does miss out on some more premium features found on its siblings, but ultimately, this is still an OLED screen that will exhibit inky deep blacks. It's also got full support for next-gen gamers.

LG CineBeam Q
LG CineBeam Q: was AU$2,499 now AU$1,636.62 at PBTech

The CineBeam Q is a stunning portable projector, both to look at and in use. It supports 4K and HDR picture formats (something that can't be said of many other portable projectors) and uses LG's excellent webOS platform for easy access to all your favourite apps. Sound quality isn't amazing, but you're able to Bluetooth to up to two devices to improve it.

This 83-inch variant of the S90D also gets a stunning discount, if you're looking for a larger screen without breaking the bank too much. It doesn't feature the same anti-glare film as the flagship S95D from 2024, but it's still very impressive, owing to its brilliant contrasting and operating system.

Samsung The Freestyle Projector
Samsung The Freestyle Projector: was AU$1,299 now AU$888 at JB Hi-Fi

Save AU$411
Samsung's portable (dare we say, cute?) projector is capable of shining an HD image up to 100-inches in size onto a wall. It automatically adjusts the picture to ensure it's straight, and includes a built-in speaker for delivering 360-degree sound.

JB Hi-Fi had already brought down the list price by a couple of hundred dollars, and a huge AU$1,300 further discount is just the icing on the cake. This deal applies to the 65-inch model (the 55-inch gets a AU$900 saving) and gets you a stunning OLED screen backed by Sony’s excellent XR Processor for stunning images. It’s ‘Perfect for PS5’ and continues to use the company’s superb speaker system built into the screen.

Sony Bravia 7 (65-inch)
Sony Bravia 7 (65-inch): was AU$3,495 now AU$2,431 at Appliances Online

A huge discount on this 2024 Sony TV. It's a mini-LED screen that Sony claims is a staggering 790% brighter than the X90L model it replaces. It also gets a new Prime Video Calibrated mode and some pretty neat energy saving settings that show exactly how much energy you're saving (or using) depending on your chosen settings.

Hisense TV deals

Hisense C2 Ultra
Hisense C2 Ultra: was AU$4,499 now AU$3,850 at Video Pro

Save AU$649

The Hisense C2 Ultra is an upgrade over the model below, introducing a new design in the process. It's capable of serving up exceptional image quality thanks to its triple laser projection system and its built-in sound is also decent, saving you the immediate need from investing in a soundbar. With it being capable of projecting images up to 300 inches and being cheaper than many big-screen TVs, this is one you should put on your wishlist.

Chances to save on our favourite soundbars

So you've just bought a new TV for your living room, or are looking to boost the sound quality of your existing TV, what's next?

While the sound from some TVs has certainly improved since they first went flat and thin, for a better home cinema experience, you'll want to look at adding one of the best soundbars to your setup, to ensure your home cinema experience is elevated as much as possible. With this being the case, below we'll look to keep you up to date with any and all opportunities to save on the soundbars we've picked out as our personal favourites.

Bose Smart Ultra soundbar
Bose Smart Ultra soundbar: was AU$1,499 now AU$892.75 at Bose APAC

Save AU$606.25

In our Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar review, we said this soundbar rivals the Sonos Arc and it's now at an all-time low price (and over AU$100 cheaper than on Black Friday). The Smart Ultra is compact, beautifully built, and offers plenty of control options to go with its wide, detailed sound. To get the deal price here, just make sure to generate your own unique 10% Bose coupon code and enter it at the checkout stage.

LG S95TR
LG S95TR: was AU$1,699 now AU$1,250 at Appliance Central

Save AU$449
A good, albeit not amazing, saving here on LG's 9.1.5-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, making it a deal you really should pay attention to. It's a genuinely great and immersive soundbar. The wireless subwoofer delivers thunderous bass, while the soundbar and rear speakers work in unison to deliver effective and authentic Dolby Atmos soundtracks.

Hisense AX-5120G
Hisense AX-5120G: was AU$699 now AU$395 at Appliance Central

Save AU$304
This Hisense Dolby Atmos soundbar was already a bargain at its original price, so this discount makes it even more appealing. We've not reviewed this exact model, but we have reviewed the AX-5125H which appears to be a very, very similar model overseas. The model here does have a lower output, but otherwise it still delivers authentic 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos speaker channels. Dialogue is clear and the overall soundstage is immersive, making for a great-value soundbar package.

Bose Smart Soundbar
Bose Smart Soundbar: was AU$799.95 now AU$537.25 at Bose APAC

Save AU$262.70
The latest version of Bose's compact soundbar impressed us in our Bose Smart Soundbar review. It delivers an overall good sound that will elevate your viewing experience in smaller rooms, especially with its Dolby Atmos processing. It's stacked with extra features, including voice control. Bass could be a bit better, but overall this is a solid choice. Just make sure to grab a unique Bose coupon code (the first option on the linked page) and enter it at the checkout to get the deal price here.

Sonos Arc (white)
Sonos Arc (white): was AU$1,499 now AU$994 at The Good Guys

Save AU$506

The Sonos Arc soundbar has been discontinued by its maker, meaning whatever stock is left is all there will ever be. Fortunately, The Good Guys still has stock, alongside a tidy AU$506 discount, making it the place to go if you want to invest in this powerful Dolby Atmos soundbar. Note that only the white model is available.

Samsung HW-Q990F
Samsung HW-Q990F: was AU$1,999 now AU$1,525 at Appliance Central

Save AU$474
We've not got around to reviewing this model yet, but considering it's the replacement for the Q990D, our favourite Dolby Atmos soundbar of last year, we're expecting it to continue its dominance. The main difference here is a redesigned subwoofer that's now more compact, yet capable of delivering eve greater low end weight.

Samsung HW-Q800D
Samsung HW-Q800D: was AU$1,099 now AU$794 at The Good Guys

Save AU$305
The Samsung Q800D is our current pick as the best soundbar for most people, thanks to its powerful sound output, crystal clear dialogue and effective Dolby Atmos effect, despite being a single bar and subwoofer combo. If you want 'true' surround, you can either invest in optional rear speakers, or turn your attention to the Q990F above.
